Breaking Barriers:

Introducing Unify Magazine, The First Magazine with Accessibility In Mind!

Unify Magazine Research: 1/3

After months of unwavering dedication and a dash of creativity, I am overjoyed to introduce Unify Magazine to the world!

Unify was born from a deep desire to bridge the accessibility gap in the fashion industry. Through witnessing the challenges faced by my own family and friends with accessibility needs and observing their struggles to fully engage with the world due to limitations opened my eyes to the urgent need for greater accessibility in all aspects of life – especially in an industry as influential as fashion.

So I decided it was time for a change...

Built from 100-pages of creative content, exciting collaborations, and a unique approach to inclusivity.  The Goal is Simple:

-       Create captivating content that resonates with the target consumer.

-       Use visual storytelling to curate innovative and alluring photography.

-       Demonstrate out of the box ideas that help provide a more accessible experience.

So that’s exactly what I did…

Every page is a labour of love, carefully crafted to prioritize accessibility in both design and content. Exciting industry collaborations with renowned brands like Akin and Atwin, as well as talented textiles designer and illustrator Alice Bigsby-bye, bring a unique and authentic perspective. Unify is more than just a publication; it's a journey towards a brighter, more inclusive future in fashion. While I'm well aware that this project alone won't transform the industry's current landscape, I hold onto the hope that it can set the stage for change. A change that will spark conversations and initiatives, moving towards an industry that embraces accessibility as a norm.

So please journey deeper into my blog, you'll discover the incredible stories behind each ‘Unify’ page, research that guided my decisions, and the hurdles I overcame during the curation process. I'm excited to share insights, reflections, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the making of Unify. Stay Tuned for much more creative content.
